German precision, global vision
Lumma Design was established in 1987 with a focus that has never wavered: transforming large, premium SUVs and GT cars into visually dominant statements without sacrificing the comfort and daily usability that made their owners choose them. The CLR programme — 35+ years of continuous production — is the expression of that consistency.
While German competitors focussed increasingly on power output, Lumma doubled down on proportion. The CLR X 800's wide-body transformation — adding 60mm of track per side — gives the BMW X6 a visual weight that the factory car, for all its engineering, cannot match. Lumma's argument is that presence is a performance metric.
