Accessibility Statement

SupercarIQ is committed to making automotive intelligence accessible to everyone.

Last updated June 2026

Our Commitment

SupercarIQ strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

SupercarIQ is operated by GoTime Motorsports, based in Scottsdale, Arizona. We believe the intelligence behind every vehicle on wheels should be available to every person who wants it.

Accessibility Measures Implemented

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements — search inputs, buttons, dropdowns, and navigation links — are fully operable via keyboard. A visible Skip to Main Content link appears at the top of every page when you press Tab, allowing keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation.

Reduced Motion

SupercarIQ fully respects the prefers-reduced-motion operating system setting. When enabled, all transitions and animations are reduced to near-zero duration. This prevents issues for users with vestibular disorders and eliminates any risk of seizure-inducing flash content (WCAG 2.3.1).

Flash and Animation Control

No content on SupercarIQ flashes more than three times per second. Animated elements are controlled and stop automatically. Users who prefer no motion will see a fully static interface through their OS preference — no separate in-app toggle is required.

High Contrast Support

SupercarIQ responds to the prefers-contrast: more media query. When high contrast mode is enabled in your operating system, the interface switches to maximum contrast colours — white text on black, with gold (#F0C93A) accent links — ensuring all text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 1.4.3.

Screen Reader Compatibility

All images carry descriptive alt text. Decorative images are markedaria-hidden. Interactive components use appropriate ARIA roles (role="button", role="listbox", aria-label,aria-expanded) to communicate state to assistive technology.

Semantic HTML and Landmarks

Pages use semantic HTML5 landmarks: <header>, <main>,<nav>, <section>, and <footer>. Heading levels are used in logical order (H1 → H2 → H3) to support screen reader document structure navigation.

Visible Focus Indicators

All focusable elements display a visible gold (#F0C93A) 2px outline when focused via keyboard, satisfying WCAG 2.4.7. Focus indicators are suppressed for mouse users to preserve visual design without compromising keyboard accessibility.

Font Scaling

Text sizes are defined in relative units (rem) so that users who increase their browser's default font size will see the interface scale proportionally. Fixed pixel sizes are avoided for body copy (WCAG 1.4.4).

Touch Targets

Interactive tap targets are a minimum of 52px in height on mobile, with primary action buttons at 68px, exceeding the WCAG 2.5.5 recommended 44×44px minimum.

Sound and Media

SupercarIQ does not currently auto-play any audio or video content. If sound or video features are added in the future, they will include mute controls, volume adjustment, and will not auto-play on page load (WCAG 1.4.2).

Known Limitations

While we work toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas are still being improved:

  • Certain AI-generated vehicle report outputs may contain complex data tables that are being progressively enhanced with row/column headers for screen readers.
  • Third-party embedded components (payment flows) are subject to the accessibility standards of those providers (Stripe).

We are actively working to resolve these limitations. If you encounter a barrier, please contact us — we will prioritise a fix.
