Guntherwerks operates from a simple premise: the 993 is the finest chassis Porsche ever produced, and it deserves to be rebuilt at the limit of what modern materials and engineering allow. Every 400R begins as a donor 993 bodyshell, which is stripped to bare metal and rebuilt using a carbon-fibre outer skin that reduces weight by 40% versus the original steel.
The Huntington Beach shop does not take commissions on a rolling basis. Production is controlled, allocations are limited, and each car takes over a year to complete. That scarcity is not marketing — it reflects the genuine throughput of a small team working to an extremely high standard on a very complex vehicle.
